Chopped Cheese Sandwich

If you love burgers, this sandwich is a must try! Very easy to make and it’s so flavorful.

Length of time from start to finish: 35 min
Difficulty: Easy
  • 1/2lb 85/15 ground beef
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper
  • 1/2 medium red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cup sliced iceberg lettuce
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic

P-reheat you griddle on high heat.

-Now let’s cut up the veggies. Slice the tomatoes, the iceberg lettuce, mince the jalapeño, and slice the onion.

-Toast the hoagie rolls once the griddle is preheated, use butter.

-Now let’s cook the ground beef. Seasoning it with salt pepper garlic, (leave the ground beef whole when placing it on the griddle) Once you flip after 4 min add the veggies and season those up as well with salt pepper garlic, after 3 min.

-Combine the onions and peppers with the ground beef, and chop them together. Then, separate the mixture into two equal parts. This is for both hoagie rolls.

-Now top with American cheese and let melt, once melted add mayo to your buns and top it with that delicious cheesy ground beef, add tomatoes, season those up and finally lettuce.

Serve along fries or your favorite sides.
