Korean Style Chicken Wings

These are so flavorful and amazingly delicious. You need to give these a go!

Length of time from start to finish: 1 hour
Difficulty: easy
  • 36 chicken wings
  • 1.5 tbsp grated ginger
  • 3 minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

-Let’s season up the wings! Use your favorite seasoning!

-Preheat the grill to 400 degrees, you want to cook the wings indirectly, meaning bank the coals to one side of the grill, you want a cool zone and a hot zone.

-Now cook the wings until they reach an internal temperature of 170 degrees and give them a quick sear over direct heat before removing them.

-While the wings are cooking, in a saucepan add, gochujang sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, rice wine vinegar, sesame seeds, cooking oil, brown sugar, place over medium heat and stir for about 10 min. Once the wings come off toss in that delicious sauce.

You can make this recipe in the oven as well. Serve along your favorite side.
