Asian Style Lettuce Wraps

These incredibly tasty lettuce wraps are packed full of flavor and very easy to make. Enjoy dinner in no time. 

Length of time from start to finish: 25 min 
Difficulty: Easy 
  • 1Lb 85/15 ground beef 
  • 2 tsp garlic paste 
  • 1 tsp ginger paste 
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar 
  • 1 small sweet onion (chopped)
  • 1 heart of romaine lettuce (leaves rinsed and separated)
  • Garnish 
  • Green onions 
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

-Place a skillet on high heat.

-Now let’s sear the meat. First, break up the ground beef with a spatula, after 3 min, add in the onions and season with salt and pepper. Once the onions are cooked down, add the dark soy sauce, rice wine vinegar.

-After 1 minute add the garlic paste and ginger paste. After 2 min, turn off the heat and let cool for 3 min before serving in the lettuce boats. 

Garnish with green onions and top with gochujang sauce. You can use regular soy sauce.
